GERMAN WWII RED CROSS OFFICERS DAGGER.

A very nice example of the Red Cross officers dagger retaining virtually all of its original plating, the top pommel and cross guards of these daggers are prone to losing their plating, this example has not suffered oxidisation although the plating is slightly dull. The deep orange grip has one minor chip on the reverse side but no cracks. The nickel plated scabbard also good with a very small area of nickel plating lost to the left hand edge. No dents to the scabbard. The blade, which is always non maker marked is absolutely superb with all of its original bright cross grain finish remaining.
