GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PILOT’S BADGE.

A mid war Luftwaffe Pilot’s badge, unmarked but we analysed it is ‘FLL’ Friedrich Linden of Ludenscheid, the pin, hook and hinge construction is identical to FLL, good examples of all the FLL types can be seen on pages 202 through to 235 of the excellent 2 volume work The German Luftwaffe Pilot and Combined Pilot and Observer badges of WWII by Sebastien Talbot. Typically of a mid to late war example, all the finish has left the badge, however it is undamaged. The reverse side would appear to have been brush cleaned.
