GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN GUARD DRAGOON OFFICERS PICKELHAUBE.

A large size all leather skull, approximately size 56, both peaks securely attached to the main body, front squared off peak trim typical of the dragoon style without any kinks to the edge trim. The leather skull has minor abrasions and indentations but no actual damage. The beautiful Prussian Guard plate, the removable spike, large cruciform cross base, officers back strap, front curved chin scales the gilt is excellent and all match. The white and green enamel behind the Guard Star undamaged. The orb is still fitted to the Prussian officers crown, the helmet is also with its correct national and State cockades. To the interior the leather liner is good with its inner green silk. The red leatherette lining to the inner rear peak is good with a small section broken away. The green lining to the interior of the front peak is present.
