GERMAN WWII WAFFEN SS ENLISTED MANS BELT AND BUCKLE.

A super set, which we firmly believe has always been together, a maker marked one-piece steel Waffen SS enlisted mans buckle, marked ‘RZM 155/40’ on the reverse side in the area close to the double pronged belt fixing system, which has been over-painted in an olive drab but period painting and not post war. Some slight loss to the that paint on the wreath below the eagle and on the high points of the lettering. Fitted to its original leather waist belt, which has much service wear. Looking at the condition of the buckle and the belt indicates to us these have always been a matched set. The belt is 100cm.
