GERMAN WWII 6TH FALLSCHIRMJAGER REGIMENT PARATROOPER HELMET.

A rare camouflage paratrooper helmet that has possibly been cut from the dead paratrooper’s head. One of he most desirable sizes being ET71 stamped shell with its classic 6FJ camouflage finish, which can be clearly seen on our web images. Minor abrasions, again easily viewed. The interior leather liner in excellent condition with good original colour, no damage to any part of the liner. Various pencilled markings over the liner and one is a star shape right at the crown, the meaning of this star shaped marking and the other names unfortunately we have no idea. All of the head size and liner size markings in ink good and clear with the maker’s marking to the front of the liner complete. The Sorbo rubber is good and firm. The helmet as stated previously has been cut from the soldier’s head and although all the strapping remains apart from the very tip of the long closure strap, they have been cut and the helmet is priced accordingly.
