A beautiful silver gift tray marked ‘835 Silver’ given as a present ‘To our comrade General Der Flieger Kesselring’ for his service at the Reich Luft Ministry between 1st October 1933 and 31st May 1937’. The nicely scalloped edged tray which measures overall 36 x 26.5cm with central eagle and swastika has 10 signatures, six of which have been identified as Field Marshall Erhard Milch, Commander of Flak Units Luftwaffe General Hans-Jurgen Von Witzendorff, Robert Ritter Von Greim, Commander in chief of the Luftwaffe after Hermann Goring had been dismissed, Luftwaffe General Ernst Udet, Luftwaffe General Friedrich Christiansen and lastly Luftwaffe General Hans Jurgen Stumpff, two other unidentified. This tray accompanied many other items of the Field Marshall Kesselring estate, sold in Germany 2020.
