GERMAN WWII CAMOUFLAGE M42 HELMET.

A highly interesting M42 raw edge combat helmet that has had a heavy duty two tone green camouflage applied, the camouflage was originally heavily applied and at least 50% has chipped away over the intervening years since WWII. Good clear images are available on our web site to be able to see the amount of paint loss. The helmet is all complete with its inner liner, which is clearly stamped size ‘59’ indicating the large size of the shell. It has lain in an exterior shed or barn where rodents have attacked a portion of the liner. The helmet is still with its original chinstrap fitted with the tip missing of the long section.
