GERMAN WWII PANZER NCO VISOR CAP.

A good saddle shaped Panzer NCO’s visor cap, although not size stamped on test we estimate size 55 or 56. The exterior is constructed in enlisted mans thick quality wool, completely free of any moth damage. Standard dark green centre band. Panzer pink piped overall. Fitted with a matching set of aluminium national eagle and cockade with some frosting remaining to the highlights. Double buckle strap. Some roughness and loss of finish to the exterior left hand front edge of the visor. To the interior the ersatz type sweatband is intact but has come adrift from the forehead area, also with cracks to the sweatband. The interior lining material in gold all complete with the remains of the centre celluloid lozenge over the logo ‘Erstklassig’ with the logo of the company Clemens Wagner an intertwined ‘CW’.
