GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE HIGH SEAS FLEET BADGE BY SCHWERIN.

A very nice example of the top maker of this award, Schwerin of Berlin. Good but subdued gilt, all of the grey patinated finish remaining to the forward facing battleship with the lightened high spots through rubbing. On the reverse side the award retains its original pin, hook and hinge and virtually all of the grey chemical finish common to the reverse side of Schwerin badges all intact with slight loss on the rear right hand wing of the Third Reich eagle.
