GERMAN WWII 1ST PATTERN E-BOAT BADGE.

The rare 1st pattern Kriegsmarine E-Boat badge manufactured by Schwerin, Berlin, good colour remaining to the wreath, eagle and swastika, some wear showing to the high points of the silvered E-Boat and some loss of dark grey patination to the waves of the sea below the keel of the E-Boat. To the reverse side, standard configuration for Schwerin badge, horizontal wide tapering pin with its original hook and hinge, the uniform retaining hook still in place behind the eagle and swastika. Some slight knocks on the reverse side in the area of the ‘Schwerin Berlin’ name. A rare badge.
