AUSTRIAN WWI BERNDORFER HELMET.

A good lightly restored example of the very rare Berndorfer helmet. This helmet with its highly unusual shape with faint remains of the bear stamping and size ‘64’ stamped into the rear skirt having good colour to the exterior with some losses and rust bleed as can be seen in our web images. The helmet is complete with its correct inner metal liner band. The three pad liner and chinstrap has evidence of restoration and may have some restored parts to the liner system, this has been taken into account in our pricing, these helmets are now incredibly difficult to obtain.
