GERMAN WWI BAVARIAN ARTILLERY OFFICERS PICKELHAUBE WITH PARADE PLUME.

An extremely nice condition all leather pickelhaube, possibly size 56. One small area of congealing to the skull close to the right hand arm of the spike cross base moving towards the rear of the helmet otherwise excellent condition. Both peaks are securely attached to the main body, all of the gilt overall excellent with frosting to the Bavarian front plate. Fluted spike, standard domed chin scales, officers Bavarian and national State cockade. Some paint losses to the blue of the Bavarian cockade. Complete with its officers full length red hair plume. The interior liner has evidence of minor wear use but still having a good light tan colour with its interior silk inner liner all complete. A very impressive looking officers pickelhaube.
