GERMAN WWII POLICE OFFICERS BERGMUTZE.

A highly unusual cap from the Third Reich being a police green constructed bergmutze. Stamped size '56'. Twisted cord officers silver piping to the crown. A very rare set of a one piece insignia of the national cockades with the police eagle in bullion wire below. To the left hand side of the cap as the cap is worn is a mountain troops Jager oak leaf badge, twin front side buttons. The cap is totally moth hole free, there is one small area of moth tracking. The interior lightweight brushed cotton lining shows evidence of wear use with stamping size '56'.
