GERMAN WWI BADEN INFANTRY NCO'S PICKELHAUBE.

A very nice and scarce regimentally marked all leather pickelhaube for a Baden Infantry NCO. The helmet is marked size '55' with the original owner's name hand inscribed below the size stamping within the crown. The exterior skull is excellent with both peaks securely attached to the main body. The interior of the front peak has the usual three kinks to the brass trim. Large griffin front plate, fitted with NCO's flat chin scales, a good set of national and Baden State cockades. Within the rear peak it is regimentally marked 'R.110' with a date of '1914'. An oval maker's stamp with a further date of '1914' to the upper inner crown. The 9 tongued liner all complete with its original leather drawstring. A very nice condition and scarce regimentally marked Baden 110th Regiment helmet.
