GERMAN WWII ARMY/WAFFEN SS RUBBERISED COAT.

Constructed in exactly the same manner as the greatcoat, this double breasted rubberised garment with false belt at the back was very popular amongst army and Waffen SS officers, this is shown profusely worn in many images. Complete with all its removable buttons, two angled lower side pockets, false deep barrel cuffs, loops for shoulder boards with one of the shoulder board retaining buttons missing. A hole is tailored through the lower left hand pocket for the threading of the sword or dagger hanger, also there is an internal hanger with a D ring for the same. Some colour changes over the garment where it has faded.
