GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE PILOTS BADGE BY B & N.L.

A lovely convex heavy nickel constructed Luftwaffe Pilots Badge. Beautiful detail to the oak and laurel leaf wreath. Good deep strike to the eagle and swastika. The reverse side of the wreath is slightly dished as well as the whole wreath being in a concave fashion. Two delicate rivets holding the eagle to the wreath. Heavily struck B & N.L. This is definitely a service used award, the thick needle pin is distorted at the top close to the hinge, we have noticed this many times over the years on service used badges, the upper part of the pin is always distorted.
