GERMAN WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN GUARD PICKELHAUBE.

A very good all leather pickelhaube with brass fittings worn by an enlisted man in a Guard Infantry Regiment. Standard leather body with slight crazing, both front and back peaks securely attached to the main body. All of the brass fittings, which include the back strap, removable spike, circular spike base, large Guard front plate with nickel overlaid Guard Star, standard leather strap, front peak trim with one split, the helmet having both its national and State cockades. The interior leather liner of 9 tongues all complete and undamaged. A highly impressive looking helmet.
