GERMAN WWI M.16 POST HOME HELMET.

A very nice good size ET66 M.16 shell that retains much of its original apple green finish with the majority of a label that a soldier has sent this helmet home to 'Reverend J. Clark Robbins, Walnut Street (with the first half only of the town in New Jersey, which reads) Bridg N. (with EW missing) Jersey USA' with the postage stamps affixed, this is exactly how the GI's of WWI sent their souvenirs home. The helmet is complete with its leather M.16 liner band and two only of the inner pads just about holding on to the leather band.
