GERMAN WWII ARMY PIONEER ENLISTED MANS OR NCOS VISOR CAP.

A size 57 stamped visor cap in the tellerform, early pre war ribbed material construction, standard dark green centre band, black piping for pioneer/engineer units. A matched set of national eagle and cockade. Standard patent chinstrap with square edged buckles. No moth damage anywhere on the cap. To the interior wear use is evident, the mid tan sweatband all in place without damage, the remainder of the interior is lined in the russet brown heavy cotton material, which is stamped size 57 to the very centre of the crown. On folding back the sweatband reveals a very big ink stamp of the maker K.H.Flauber, Minden, Westfalia with a clear date of 1938.
