GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE SIGNALS NCOS VISOR CAP.

A good size 57 virtually mint unissued condition Luftwaffe enlisted mans/NCOs visor cap. The form of the cap is a semi teller, semi saddle shaped cap, the cap is dated 1937, the upper part of the cap has all nap remaining, no moth damage at all, standard mohair centre band, light brown piping for Signals. A complete matching set of national eagle and cockade, standard double oval buckle chin cord with black side buttons. The light tan sweatband does not have any evidence of wear use. The interior lining is in a russet brown with a very large centre celluloid lozenge with the retailers name Felix Weissbach Mutzenfabrik, Glauchau plus a date 1937, this was probably the date of manufacture, on turning back the sweatband there is a further lettering LNEA with roman numeral II plus a number 14 plus further date of 1938. A superb cap.
