WWII GERMAN AFRIKA KORPS OFFICERS M40 FIELD CAP MINT CONDITION.

A stunning size 56 Robert Lubstein Officers peaked Afrika Korps cap. The cap has been lightly worn with some service use to the front forehead section. All paint remains on the air vents to either side of the cap. The Bevo tropical insignia, both first pattern items are untouched as per factory application. The silver Officers cording also factory applied. The once apple green panzer grenadier soutache has been removed, however threads are visible when inspecting closely between the cap peak and body. Internally, the red cotton lining is boldly stamped Robert Lubstein Berlin 1941 within a rectangular box. A truly magnificent and ultra rare item of tropical clothing.
