IMPERIAL GERMAN PRUSSIAN UHLAN OFFICERS HELMET.

An extremely good condition and very large size Prussian Uhlan officers helmet. Excellent leather body with just slight crazing age lines below the mortarboard top and some minor congealing, the mortarboard top is totally undamaged also in leather with minor congealing to the top, complete with its officers quality beautifully gilded Prussian front plate, correct domed chin scales, one officers national cockade and the state cockade being the officers field cockade situated at the top of the mortarboard. To the interior the helmet has its complete mid tan leather sweatband fitted, which is supple with age usage showing, it is also complete with its inner silk, which again has age use and slight shredding to the silk. A beautiful helmet.
