A good all leather bodied enlisted ranks Prussian pickelhaube, size stamping very faint, possibly 54. Main skull superb, both the front and back peaks having the standard congealing but firmly fixed to the body, the stitching has not rotted. All of the fittings, which include the back strap, non removable spike, circular spike base, Prussian front plate, brass front trim, strap fittings all matching in colour, complete with its Prussian eagle a with original leather strap. National and state cockades complete with faded paint. To the interior the full 11 tongued leather liner all intact with its leather drawstring, the interior colour of the skull is unchanged, faint traces of what maybe rubber ink stampings to the inner rear peak, which could be interpreted as Regiment No.137. One pinhole in the rear peak where the helmet was once affixed to a mounting bracket for wall display. Condition:
