A very nice and field used example of the extremely scarce issued cap for Luftwaffe personnel. This item is factory piped for officer issue having the tropical specific Luftwaffe BEVO tan backed eagle with matching lower cockade. The lining is clearly dated '43' and the item remains in field used condition with signs of minor wear, a little staining and a good hard used field like appearance. The front peak has the characteristic front break to the central peak. This was clearly done at the time and was common to give a jaunty appearance. Condition:
