An interesting reminder of war being a 2nd pattern type Afrika Korps tunic and standard pattern straight leg trousers that were recently recovered from Italy. These items show extremely extensive wear, their origin was from a POW camp and items appear to have been left behind by various departing prisoners and were discovered in Italy. A unusual light coloured Jersey Wool knitted shirt, pointed collar , 4 button pullover style with all of its substitute pressed paper buttons attached with field grey lined pocket flaps and matching lining to the button hole areas, some storage staining.  read more

GERMAN WWII SINGLE SWORD STRAP AND SHOULDER BELT.

A mint condition white canvas shoulder strap with tan leather base with a nice polished aluminium sprung loaded clip, attached to the clip is a single matching brown strap and a steadying chain for attachment to a sword. The attachment clip to the sword is ‘DRGM’ and ‘Assmann’ marked.  read more

GERMAN WWII ARMY OFFICERS LARGE SIZE PORTAPEE.

Three silver strands to the leather strap. Black and silver twisted cord slide with a fully silver stem and acorn. This is in excellent condition, it has been fitted to a sword but without any service wear.  read more

A fine condition 23mm circumference civilian employees of the Wehrmacht lapel pin, solid back with manufacturer ‘C.E.Juncker’ in raised relief, complete with its twisted and grooved lapel pin fixing.  read more

The plaque measures 7 x 7cm with four pre drilled holes for fitting for Motor Group Nordmark meeting, Hamburg and Lubeck on the 23rd October 1938.  read more

GERMAN WWII THE HERO HEAD.

The original hero head was introduced in WWI, this is a WWII version measuring 20cm in height, very finely sculptured showing the soldier wearing the WWI style steel helmet in patriotic pose. The sculptor’s name ‘Harders’ impressed into the reverse side. Cast in hollow bronze.  read more
