A fabulous condition beautifully embroidered pouch to an officer of the 18th Queen Mary’s Own Hussars. extremely colourful gold, blue and velvet embroidered all laid onto the background of the red Morocco pouch. This is a 1902-10 pattern pouch, originally formed in 1766 it went through many changes until finally amalgamating in 1921 with the 13th Hussars to become the 13th/18th Royal Hussars. The embroidery work is magnificent, no moth damage to the blue backing, complete with its battle honours of Peninsular, Waterloo, South Africa 1899-1902 and lastly the Defence of Ladysmith in the Boer War. The belt is complete with its matching red Morocco shoulder belt with all of its correct accessories fitted, gilding to the accessories is excellent.
