GERMAN WWII BERLIN PRESENTATION PLAQUE.

A very nicely crafted white satin porcelain plaque measuring 12 x 6cm, the plaque showing the coat of arms of Berlin with the standing bear, the year 1237-1937. On the reverse side ‘Thanking you for your service to the city in 1937’. In its presentation case with the porcelain manufacturers logo in Berlin gilded to the upper inner lid. The cardboard case has some light scuffs, with a nice A4 presentation letter to a ‘Herr Baas’ from the Burgermeister of Berlin thanking him for his help in organising the 700 year celebrations of the City of Berlin. Dated 17th September 1938, letter folded once with other creases.
