A nice stored condition NSDAP orts group crusher cap, the cap is constructed in the early crusher style with soft flexible peak and soft flexible lower band, two moth holes to the centre band, one minor moth nip on the rear overhang, abrasions to the material just to the right hand side of the political eagle. Fitted with a faded gilt political eagle, swastika centred national cockade, gold cap cords, and faded political side buttons. The leather sweatband all intact with evidence of much wear use. The side inner lining in a tan brushed cotton, with the upper crown lining in gold satin, with the remains of the silver blocked retailers marking, the celluloid lozenge completely missing. A good early cap seen being worn in many images of the period.
