GERMAN WWI MAXIM 08 MACHINE GUN SIGHT, CASED.

The sight is marked ‘Emil Busch A.G.’ of Rathenow, marked ‘ZF12’ with its issue number. Optics good, slightly dirty with its pull off lens cap, The majority of the paint to the main body of the sight is missing. Fitted into its original fitted case, the number of the case matches the number of the sight ‘6362’, the case is also marked ‘Emil Busch Rathenow’. The rivets holding the lid to the main body have broken and the lid is held by a heavy duty twine to the main box, also the two brass studs that fit to the side of the lid for a closure attachment are also missing. Both belt loops present.
