GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS GREATCOAT.

In our opinion one of the rarest items of German army clothing of WWII, from memory I believe we have only had 5 of these in nearly 50 years of trading. The configuration is exactly the same as the standard army greatcoat with barrel cuffs, two lower angled pockets, false belt at the back of the coat. Lovely tropical colour, with a superb set of Greatcoat size Panzer Grenadier nco shoulder boards fitted. Indistinct factory markings to the interior. No moth damage. It is incredible how very few of these greatcoats remain considering how many were actually used in the desert, which gets extremely cold at night. Many images can be seen of the greatcoat being worn.
