GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN OFFICERS FIELD BLUSE.

A lovely condition depot issued officers field bluse of the M.10/15 configuration. A depot constructed and issue marked large size tunic all in field grey, apple green collar, fitted with shoulder boards of Prussian Fusilier Regiment No.40. Black and white fleck within the subdued exterior grey lace, blue underlay, red piped to the front skirt of the tunic, deep turned back barrel cuffs, two lower angled pockets, M.15 rear skirt fitted with issue quality belt ramps and belt supports. All buttons are of the enlisted ranks style and all match. There is one minor moth nip close to a front pocket flap, the nap of the cloth is excellent overall. Fully lined in issue quality lining material, clearly stamped 'B.A.XIV. 1915' within a rectangle (Army Corps 14). Various theatrical costumiers inventory stamps also to the interior. This is an excellent example of a combat issued tunic possibly worn by an NCO upgraded to an officer in the field by virtue of the enlisted ranks buttons. Both barrel cuffs have their buttons and tabs for adjusting the width of the base of the cuff. A superb combat tunic for making an officer mannequin field grey display.
