GERMAN WWI IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS 1914 DISC SCREW BACK.

An exceptionally rare variant with a fretted out reverse side disc. Convex constructed Iron Cross, ‘800’ silver marked on the rear of the lower arm, the cross stamped ‘930’ silver. The rear fretted out plate also marked ‘DRGM’ having a buff leather pad between the fretted frame and the cross. Slight fading to the original finish on the face side.
