GERMAN WWII AFRIKA KORPS ARMY TROPICAL PANZER OFFICERS TUNIC.

A superb example of a heavily bleached virtually light cream enlisted ranks pattern tunic, which was a standard issue to all ranks, then worn by a Panzer officer. The tunic appears to have been slightly shortened as the bottom pockets are very close to the lower skirt. Fitted with its factory applied Bevo woven yellow on blue collar patches, its 1st pattern slightly oxidised blue on tan breast eagle and with the matching oxidised set of Panzer pink Leutnant’s shoulder boards, the boards appear to have lost their original tabs and cloth tabs have been produced locally. Some slight repair to the side of each board. The tunic appears to have been opened out at the back for a slightly larger wearer than the wearer it was originally issued to.
