A magnificent condition all green cloth covered shako with brown Gendarmerie crown, front and back peaks. Complete with its large enlisted ranks police eagle accompanied by silver, black and red cockade. Correct brown chinstrap with aluminium fittings. To the interior a full ‘Robert Lubstein Erel’ fibre shako trademark to the upper inner crown area. Marked in white ink ‘size 55 ½ ‘. Complete with its 8 tongued liner, which is in excellent condition, some wear showing with its original leather drawstring.
