GERMAN WWII MEDICAL M43 DER SPEISS COMBAT TUNIC.

A large size tunic in the M43 cut, 6 button closure, 4 pockets all with pleats. The tunic is fitted with a slip-on set of medical blue piped shoulder boards, some oxidisation to the lace. Universal Bevo woven green on grey collar patches with subdued lace to the collar and matching subdued Der Speiss rank lace to each lower sleeve. A light grey on green Bevo woven cross hatch stitched breast eagle. The tunic has suffered some damage repairs, a small patch underneath the right hand armpit. It would appear that the very point of the right hand collar has been repaired and replaced. One moth hole into the lower rear skirt. Another patch repair in the area just adjacent to the rear back panel. Unusually it is virtually fully lined to the interior. Maker marked and a full compliment of size stampings visible. Nap thin to the cloth overall except in the protected areas of under the collar and under the pocket flaps.
