GERMAN WWI PICKLEHAUBE OFFICERS FIELD COVER.

The cover for an officers picklhaube are relatively easy to obtain, however a numbered cover is not, this cover which has good service wear stencilled painted R 22 in Green to the front side, complete with its spike cover, the tapes holding the spike cover to the main body frail but all in place, a number of pin moth holes to the cover, and some slight cracks in the cloth through age and fatigue to the cloth. The cover fits loosely to a size 56 helmet , but a nicer snug fit to a size 57 or 58 helmet.
