GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE 2ND PATTERN OFFICERSS DAGGER.

A 2nd pattern officers dagger, which unfortunately has got a shortened blade with evidence of some corrosion however to the blade the original owner’s name of ‘Karl Schachner’ has been etched with what appears to be an oak leaf cluster on either side of the central name. It is an orange grip with very minor cracks to the base of the grip, all grip wire intact. Loss of finish to the lower part of the nickel plated scabbard. Slight rubbing to the breast of the eagle. The upper pommel is good.
