FREE FRENCH AIR FORCE HELMET WWII.

A highly unusual helmet being the Adrian pattern for WWII with its original French Air Force badge attached. The main skull is in generally excellent condition, some slight loss to the black paint finish with its bronze French Air Force badge attached. Original chinstrap complete, although frail and slightly cracked. All of these helmets were converted for use with British liners and the liners are a plain push fit into the helmet shell, the frame of the fibre liner is size marked and dated ‘1940’ to the interior, stitching at the join at the back of the liner is split. A rare helmet.
