CZECHOSLOVAKIAN WWII OFFICERS WAIST BELT.

A good condition full dress subdued gold brocade waist belt with its highly nickel plated buckle and complete with its sword hanging strap. This identical form of buckle is shown on page 30 of Foreign Legions of the Third Reich by David Littlejohn, with the central Coat of Arms differing slightly. The example on page 30 shows a central logo of a standing lion with eagles, the logo on the belt and buckle offered here has the standing lion of Czechoslovakia with the central shield of Slovakia to the lion’s chest.
