A highly interesting collectible item relating to the Maxim gun, a British made cut throat razor, etched into the blade 'The Maxim Razor' with an etched outline of the Maxim gun to the centre. Manufactured by 'J.Underwood Cutlery, Barrow in Furness. Barrow in Furness is a town in Northern England, we have no history on the purposes of this razor, the British Government were the first purchasers of the Maxim gun prior to 1900 and could possibly be in relation to that purchase.
