IMPERIAL GERMAN SAXON RESERVE CAVALRY ENLISTED MANS TSCHAPKA.

An extremely nice all leather bodied with tin mortarboard top tschapka for an enlisted man in a Saxon Uhlan Regiment. Leather body good, complete with its Saxon Reserve enlisted ranks plate, basic gilt brass with nickel coat of arms of Saxony over a Reserve Cross, its correct white and green Saxon field cockade fitted to the mortarboard top, to the right hand side of the helmet as the helmet is worn the national black, white and red enlisted ranks cockade, brass front trim. To the interior the ten tongue liner is in place, the tip of one tongue has broken away, the lower edges of the liner have suffered slightly from leather red rot but this is stable and will not deteriorate further. The liner is all in place correctly.
