BRITISH WWI 1902 SERVICE TUNIC.
A lovely condition large size 1902 pattern service tunic to a sergeant major in the Kingís Royal Rifle Corps. Good nap to the cloth, minor moth nips, one moth nip close to the upper right hand epaulette, another close to the sergeant majorís crown, one to the right hand upper pocket flap otherwise the tunic is relatively free of moth damage, no staining, no tears. Complete with a set of the blackened KRR shoulder titles, all regimental composition Rifles buttons surmounted by a crown. Three homemade wound stripes to the lower right hand sleeve as the tunic is viewed, a set of sergeants stripes with sergeant majorís crown above. Medal ribbons comprise of the Military Medal plus the three WWI awarded medals. Skeleton lining complete, also with bandage pocket. Number over letters ĎWDí stamp to the inner skeletal lining. Natural service wear marks to the collar.
