A WWII souvenired SS mans belt and buckle. This is the early nickel type buckle, slightly narrower than the standard issue, generally worn by Allgemeine troops, in this instance has been worn in a combat situation. Very faint details of the scroll work remaining, as can be seen by our web images but the central swastika is good and clear. Maker marked on the reverse side ‘SS’ runes within a double circle, number ‘63’ within a single circle followed by ‘RZM’ in a double circle. All fitted to its combat quality thick heavy leather belt, which has been strengthened by the addition of three rivets both to the adjuster strap and the turned end of the belt, which slips through the aluminium clip.
