An ultra rare camouflage finish being the white painted helmet for snow camouflage, this example an undoubted barn find recently discovered in Austria, unfortunately there is a very faintly stamped SE64 which is difficult to read through the rust on the inside skirt of the helmet. The shell retains at least 70% of its original snow finish with areas of rust as can be seen from our web images, a single army decal can just about be seen beneath the white paint. To the interior the liner is all complete, the leather has solidified as still has at least half of its original drawstring remaining. The helmet is also complete with its chinstrap, the short and long section, however it has broken and the end of the long section is fitted into the buckle of the short section. The residue of years of storage in an outside building is evident to the helmet.
