GERMAN WWI PRUSSIAN JAGER OFFICERS SHAKO.

A very nice condition and large size, possibly 58, Prussian Jager officers shako. The front and back peaks with the crown all in the standard patent leather that does have some crazing. The black cloth sides are excellent with one moth nip to the material just between the head of the Prussian eagle plate and one of the wings with a minor nip to the right hand edge butting up to the lower leather strip. Gilt to the Jager officers plate excellent with good gilt to the correct flat chin scales. The helmet is complete with its national officers cockade and its correct officers bullion wire field cockade. To the interior the black leather sweatband all intact with its red silk inner liner good without shredding. An excellent example of this scarce helmet.
