A rare matched set being the correct front plate for the officers shako of Mecklenburg Schwerin. Good gilt in the lower groove of the plate, thinness to gilt on the high points, complete with its Mecklenburg Schwerin overlay plate and cut out crown. At present for display only attached by blue tack to the back of the plate is the beautiful quality red and blue officers bullion wire red and blue velvet centred bullion wire surround shako cockade.
